Alan J Lyon CPA

Alan has over 25 years experience assisting individuals and businesses with their taxes, accounting and wealth development.  He was previously a partner with the firm Stevens Lyon & Hagerty CPAs located in Southern California.  Alan moved to Utah in 2017 and continues his practice there. 

Alan earned his bachelors and masters degree in accounting from Brigham Young University and is a CPA. He previously worked for many years with an international accounting firm before joining Stevens Lyon & Hagerty CPAs in 2002.  As Alan's former partners retired in 2014, the firm became Alan J Lyon Accountancy Corporation.  

Alan has vast experience in corporate and individual taxation. His experience includes tax preparation, tax planning, stock option consulting, representation before the IRS and other tax agencies, business formation advice, executive compensation planning, alternative minimum tax planning, merger and acquisition consulting and financial planning.
